The Last Fairchild
I have been sick and close to death since my youth. I stand helpless and desperate before your terrors.
Your fierce anger has overwhelmed me. Your terrors have paralyzed me.
They swirl around me like floodwaters all day long. They have engulfed me completely.

The town is empty, just like the one before it. Just like all the ones before it. The thick layer of snow covering the houses, shacks and stores, the wagons outside them, the well at the center of the town, and the road itself, creates a scene of decepti
